Fall has finally arrived in Cleveland. As the foliage turns to signature autumn colors, you’ll find a variety of events and activities you can only enjoy in Northeast Ohio at this time of the year.

- Visit Cedar Point during the Halloweekends.
Cedar Point takes on a spooky aura every fall. At the spotlight are its array of haunted houses and other scary attractions. These include haunting shows and mazes where you can get lost.
As you stroll along the pathways of Cedar Point, you might suddenly find yourself in the middle of a skeleton dance party or a colorful pumpkin parade. Don’t miss the opportunity to see and experience a different side of Cedar Point.

- Experience drive-in cinema in Cleveland.
North Ridgeville is home to the city’s last drive-in, and what better way to experience this real treat by catching a movie at Aut-O-Rama Twin Drive In!
On October 19 and 20, the Aut-O-Rama Twin Drive-in Theatre will hold their annual Retro Halloween Weekend. They’ll feature four family-friendly movies and then four horror movies, so pick your poison. Aside from the feature films, there will also be a trunk decorating contest and as well as costume competitions for both kids and adults. RSVP to the event by clicking this link.
- Visit a local apple orchard for the harvest.
Fall is not only the season of golden foliage and trick-n-treating. It’s also the time to harvest nature’s produce. Scattered across Northeast Ohio are several apple orchards you can visit with the kids for some fresh air and quality time.
Sage’s Apples in Chardon is located near Cleveland and is open every day of the week from 9:00 AM through 6:00 PM. They have a wide variety of apples, including Burgundy, Zestar, Gala, and Honeycrisp. Aside from apples, you can also get some fresh peaches, plums, and pears, as well as homemade products like jams and pies. Sounds delicious!

- Head out to Solon for their annual Fall Festival.
Located just about 25 minutes from Cleveland is Solon, where you can find an annual festival that’s free for all.
This year, Solon’s Fall Festival will be held on October 6, 2018 at the Solon Community Park, from 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM. The event will feature live music entertainment, an exhibit and fair for local artists, food trucks, and a competition where the whole family can showcase their football skills.
More family-friendly fun awaits, as the Solon Fall Festival will also host their own pie-baking content. Everyone is also invited to decorate their own pumpkins for the upcoming Halloween celebrations.
